PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The conference will start on the Monday evening September 26 with a reception hosted by the Mayor of the City of Braga followed by two full days of tutorials, keynote & contributed lectures and poster presentations describing not only the latest advances in science and technology but also commercially valued applications in a number of different business areas spanning from LEDs to Drug Delivery.

The Program will end on late Wednesday afternoon with a tour to encounter the Atlantic Ocean and a final farewell dinner in the sunset. The social part of the program will also include Port wine tasting, a gala banquet in Porto on Tuesday, offering the possibility to sample not only the rich variety of excellent Portuguese food & wines but also to enjoy the typical melancholic Fado-music, all taking place in one of the most beautiful buildings in Portugal, the famous Hall of Stock Exchange close to the River of Douro, the important trading river for Port wine exports.
